Paypal says "Your device not recognized"
 

I am using ebay and paypal in vps.

I have about $1500+ in my paypal. Now I can buy labels by using my paypal. But I am unable to transfer fund to other account.

It says:


Verify your account

We don't recognize the device you're using. To continue with your transaction, please verify your account.


It is my friend paypal account. My friend called paypal they said everything is okay with the paypal and they submit this request to IT department. I need urgent money. WHAT TO DO? Please help.

It's always advised not to transfer funds from one PayPal to another. Always withdraw to a bank account.

I don't have any option to withdraw money to bank.

Why can you not withdraw to your bank account?

Is it becuase PayPal is not letting or you becuase there is not one attatched?

this is a browser issue and paypal triggers that message when the system detects a browser problem. I changed my settings and emailed paypal and they fixed it.

the issue is withdrawing money that is the only time pp launched the phone text/call recognize device issue.

I also got it once when tryin to buy something from ebay.

never heard or seen that before. most all of us got it when withdrawing.

Maybe you need confirm computer, my experience. If you live in US, try IP/android device, down pp app and login several times in 3 or 4 days and your problem is solved.

VPS is a risk. What country are you really located in as well? What country is the friend really located? Avoid doing a paypal to paypal transfer too.

Your friend should join so we do not give 3rd party advice too.

I used to goto school in USA. I am back my home country now. My friend got deported from USA, he is 39yrs old guy. He never touch the PayPal.

Now, Today I got MC999 in his ebay account. Ebay s**ks.
Don't know what to do. I just bought this ebook.

Actually this issue is not exclusively a withdrawal issue.
many times people will encounter it when trying to send money as well.
Basically anything that drains money out of the account.

What are you using? cell phone etc???

Age of account & what is happening etc might help too.

Home PC. Account was about 8 months old, in use for 6 months. When trying to print postage pp account was about two bucks short, they tried to hit back up funding and was denied by the bank because those kinds of transactions aren't allowed by the bank. They then said it wasn't a working bank account which it was they just couldn't take money out of it, so they disabled the bank account. Couldn't add a new bank account from there, just kept getting the identity verification prompt to call phone number. Couldn't get that to work. A couple days after that is when the we don't recognize this device message started popping up.

This is the same phone that was used during the account creation. It works. For whatever reason they aren't letting the number be used on these security things.

IS there any solution ? I have this message, every time i am willing to send money. Once, i have called them and they remove this stupid thing. Again, i have this security check. But when i have called them 4 times, this time they did not remove it. 4 reps are telling me some general bull****s and not willing to remove it. If someone has managed to fix this issue can PM the solution ? Thank you!

some say its best just to wait 72 hours and try again.

I am experiencing this problem on every account i am trying to pay. Never before.
And i am not sure how to handle with this!

Just leave for a few hours and try to pay from different browser.
Works like a charm...

The message will eventually go away. Chances are that the cookies are not present on the account if you cleared them.

The account from which i try to pay is not verified. I've tried after 72 hours. Also i have tried from another browser after 1 day without success. What to do now ? What is this ? If i call them to remove this security check, i think my account will get suspended! Brhhhh
