Paypal trouble. Being threatened! Should I take this seriously?
 

Hi everyone.

I've had major trouble with a recent transaction on ebay.

It was for a digital camera that I sold.

I dispatched it, but I never sent it with a tracking number. I should've done this I know, I'm stupid.

Anyway, the recipient never got his camera. Or so he says! I really don't know if he is lying or what.

After major arguments with him back and fourth, I didn't hear from him for a long time. I assumed he had gone away or that he had given up.

But then the other day he sent me some "threats". I don't know if he is just trying to scare me. Well it seems to have worked cos I am quite scared.

He seems to have got the police involved. He gave me a list of the things he had done:


Is this all true? Or is he just trying to scare me?

BTW, all my ebay and paypal account details are ⊗⊗⊗⊗.

What was the actual problem about refunding? Worry about lost profit and now

and USA are different.

i doubt anyone would go through that much trouble over a camera. and even if he did get the police involved, i doubt they would even waste their time coming to talk to you b/c they already know what your going to say.

The camera cost £310. It was completely stupid of me to send it un-recorded I know. But I had so much on that particular week that I thought that it would be fine because I've never had anything lost in the post.

I am convinced he is lying, but then again I don't know. I don't even use that paypal account anymore. So i don't care about it going into minus.

If he has gone to the police, will they bother doing anything? My details are all ⊗⊗⊗⊗. But should I still be worried?

if the police come just explain that you sent it and you didnt commit any crime.

He's talking crap right? Even if this is possible, do ebay/paypal go to such lengths?
