Paypal buyer protection for mobile phones?

So I purchased a phone on ebay. In the last 7 years, only one of the many phones I purchased was IMEI blocked after a few months of purchase.

Now I recently purchased another one, good bargain, good seller, good communication, good seller ratings, good iphone but seller keeps asking for a positive feedback... Im trying to hold off till a few months pass.

Now if I do leave a positive feedback, does Paypal still cover my back for 6 months from date of purchase if phone becomes blocked or somewhat?

Cheers.

You still have 6 months cover even if you leave positive feedback.

Infact, if your seller hasnt followed all the rules set out in the new(ish) consumer contract regulations, you have up to 2 years to return the item by law.

Any help will be great thanks.

Well in the first 6 months you should open a case with paypal.

If you paid by credit card you will be covered by them. If you didnt then next time you buy expensive items on ebay consider using your credit card for extra protection.

Id just cross the bridge of cc regs if you need too. Many steps before you get to that point.
