Verifying Paypal account with just a credit card

So, I've always used bank accounts to verify my Paypal accounts. I'm wondering if I link ONLY a credit card, if that will still verify my Paypal account? If so, will my Paypal accounts be just as strong as if I had a bank account linked to it? Or is it always better to have a bank account linked? Thanks!

You need either a real bank account or a VBA to verify a PayPal account.

A VCC will not verify it.

JamesNorth101 is right.

Best to add both a VBA (or real bank) plus some form of credit card (VCC or gift card). You need both to remove the $500 monthly withdrawal limit and it makes your Paypal account a bit stronger.
