Sending money by mass payment on Paypal.
 

I have not sent money by mass payment on Paypal in ages.

From what I understand now you have to have either a premier or business Paypal account to send money by mass payment.

I have 2 questions about using mass payment when sending money.

1. When sending money using mass payment does the receiver have to have a priemer or business account to receive the money?

2. After you send the money is there any hold on the money when the receiver has received their funds in their Paypal account?

Another words when you send money by mass payment are the funds free and clear with no holds like it is when you send money as a gift?

About the holds, it all depends on the account that you are sending funds to, if they are new than yes people have been reporting lately payments outside eBay having a 21 day hold

Also sometimes and again this is usually with newer accounts on the receiving end, the hold is just 12-24 hours and than released

Do you know what the minimum amount of money you have to send to do a mass payment?

I don't remember because it was over 5 years ago and when I did send the money it was in very large amounts.
