[German] Paypal suddenly demands bank verification?
 

Hey Guys,

so, I've created ⊗⊗⊗⊗ german paypal accounts every now and then. It's always worked like this: I enter info about name adress phone etc etc. They send me an e-mail, I verify it, and boom I've got a working paypal Account. I can receive money. I can send money (maybe with limitations, I've never tried sending a lot) Even though I never actually had a bank account or credit card verified! Paypal mentioned here and there that it'd be great if I'd add a bank account but I was not required to.
Today, I've tried creating another account and this time, I was required to enter my bank data. There was no other way of creating an account. For me, and I assume, some others as well, this does make a difference.

How does this work for you? Were you able to create Accounts without bank verifying them before, like I was? And does that still work for you now?

Also, what will happen if you enter ⊗⊗⊗⊗ bank data? They will send a payment, it won't arrive, will this result in paypal limiting the account asap? Or will it still be usable even if you do not provide their verification code?

And did you get passed the verification?, as it seems they do an
identitats check, can you add an bank account from an different name?
