Personal vs Business Account
 

Do I use the business account right off the bat? Do I upgrade to business? I can't use an EIN on personal, so do I use business?

I myself never use a business account off the bat but prefer to go for the personal account first. Theres a lot more info to fill up if going the business account route.
I suppose it really depends on your needs and goals though.

If you open a business account and supply the EIN, paypal also demands the users SS now. If you wait until the request tax info, you just load your EIN/Details and they dont demand the SS of the user.

What you do is sit down and decide what the plan is.

Ask yourself are you going to be creating an account that will withstand majority of issues.

Have you sorted the problems that lead to the 'murder' of that other profile?

Start at the bottom then. Make a personal account. Nuture that slowly.

Keep in mind to not go overboard with selling or face the likelihood of being asked for tax info on projected sales.

So if they request an SSN for personal, will I be able to put in an EIN?

You dont put an SS.
You only add the EIN when they require it.
