How to pick something up?
 

I am making a purchase and I would like to have it delivered to a post office or fedex for pickup. I dont want to give out my address to someone on ebay because I was stalked in the past and threatened for my life.

SO i dont want to give away my address and rather just pick it up at a fedex or usps. SO how would I go about this?

Don't think that's even possible, You need to have a physical address....You can always open a P.O. Box, then add a Business Name so if you need an item delivered it can be delivered to your business name/address.

Never actually heard of someone being Stalked and had their life threatened....Hope this helps.

if you are purchasing on amazon, have them deliver to an amazon post.

So I cant have something shipped to fedex, then once it is delivered to my local fedex, I could go pick it up??

Are you even sure your seller will allow this?

Alarm bells ring for me when buyers want this.


If this is on a new paypal, and the amount is high, some sellers may not even deal with you.

Have you thought of that?

Get the tracking number and then ask for HOLD AT TERMINAL on UPS or Fedex. You would still have to supply an actual real address.

Or get an alternative address altogether. UPS store, private mail box, friends business address, etc..

Makes it even easier for a buyer to say they never received the item and the seller loses money and the item

If its really that much of a hassle, ask if you can schedule the delivery yourself and use your UPS store as a pick up local?

AND if the seller accepts the sale with delivery to address X and supplies tracking for that, diverting to address Z is not the seller's problem.

Buyer loses if there is a problem. OP is not taking into account paypal can be strange with accounts, and high amounts of money.

Been talk in other threads of amounts over $2000. Not a wise way to purchase.
