queston about when paypal asks for tax id
 

when Paypal asks for tax id, what happens to the money in the account?
will the money be locked until i give it to them? or can i send it?

Is your account limited? There will be a limitation message that says what you can't do with PP...

And worst case scenario after that youll have to wait 180 days.
OR - provide them with the EIN.

When you get the first request, stop selling. The funds will not be locked up. If you push it and continue selling you can become limited and a variation of things can happen at the point but typically the funds are not froze but you can no longer receive.

slokor posted the worst case scenario but that is not standard on a clean account operating a good business. If it is a little dirty or rocky another story altogether.
