You don't have the option to view the account in the 'classic' format anymore.
If you click on that link on the paypal homepage it will just show you the payment history in that format - nothing more.

I have noticed - and this is from this morning - that if I create a paypal...initially it will be in the classic format. Then, future logins...it goes to the new format - annoying

If you create your paypal account via ebay 'Sign Up' under Accounts. then you will have classic paypal. but if you create your paypal by going to paypal.com then you will have the new GUI. that's what i've been seeing

Even then youll get the new layout sooner or later - and more then likely sooner.
Theyre 'upgrading' all accounts to this new garbage look. I personally am NOT a fan of it.

Who could be......that new format is IMO, way inferior to what they had!

In the bottom right hand corner of paypal is the button called 'classic'
it will bring up the transaction history in classic, but when you need to see all the profile details it will also be classic on those pages.. ( its like this in the uk at least)

I created the new pp account via going on the website...had the classic pp layout until I logged out and relogged in

I have accounts I made 2 years ago that I never clicked the "try the new PayPal " button and those accounts still have been running with the older layout but any new account the classic option is no longer there

Yes I made an account when they first starting doing it, I was all made up at first and then it went to the new format. I continued making and deleting the account as I thought it was me at fault, in the end I realized that's it just put up with it

They switched an account I made a few days ago to the classic site. No idea why, but there are no options t change it back.

Well I had a thread about a stealth account of mine, http://www.aspkin.com/forums/paypal-...-occurred.html

A helpful poster said to try adding the bank account using classic view and I might not get error, can't find classic view though.
Emails between myself and paypal unhelpful.
Tried calling they asked for full SS#, i said "i'm not comfortable with that" now I'm down an aged stealth account + a legit bank account out. Oy vey.

Right on oompa - sadly, the classic view won't stick for all tabs I have noticed
