what i am asking i need to pay a tax to USA for selling products in eBay USA
| Technically speaking, Yes you should pay tax on sales generated in the USA on a US registered ebay account.
A good place to start is IRS publication 515. and publication 519 which covers Non-Resident Aliens. Its complicated. I am no tax expert. If you are only selling a few hundred or even a few thousand, you can probably not file as you can be considered a casual seller and the IRS most likely not come after you. If you are clearly running a business, then yes, the IRS expects you to pay taxes.
The kicker in your case is your paypal account is India domiciled. Since it is paypal that will ask your tax info to submit to the IRS, having it based in India avoids that part.
I don't think all these Chinese sellers are paying US taxes though. I am sure if you call the IRS they will "yes you have to pay us money." |
