What does the little gray circle mean...?

Have been wondering about the little gray circle more and more lately. Most of the time it is yellow, every now and then it's gray. See picture.....anyone know what it means, opposed to the yellow one?

I have noticed this on few orders - I haven't analyzed it...just I have not had issues

I tried hovering over it to see if a description box pops up and it does not. It's strange because it is a rare occurence....I wonder if it has something to do with their payment method. CC vs. bank / PAD

Anything grayed out in paypal usually means not everything is clear to complete the transaction.

Look at the sale and see if you can determine any info.

Be careful of shipping until you confirm all is in order.

That's the thing...address is confirmed, buyer has been on ebay for over 10 years, paypal says "ok to ship"... :noidea:

From what I've seen, grey circles are payments you sent, yellow are payment received

On your image the grey circle doesn't say payment received like the others

Youre right, all it says is payment...but all of those are received payments, and they are all "ok to ship". I have had a few of these instances and not sure what to make of it.

I have shipped on a few of these instances with no issues but that's my own experience

In some cases payment is sent from the buyers bank accnt.
My guess is that eb tells you when the process have been successfully completed (check transaction page on PP)
