Paypal Limited, Funds released in 45 Days?
 

Hi Everyone,

My real Paypal account got limited and closed on Dec 28th,

It was because i was sending money from my 4 Stealth Accounts to withdraw to my bank. I am wondering when i will be able to withdraw all my money from my 4 Stealth Accounts which is $800 totaling all.

I did receive an email for my real Paypal account saying i can withdraw my money after 45 days, I am wondering if this goes the same for my other 4 Stealth Paypal accounts, They are wanting these Responses Photo ID, Bank Account Statement, Credit Card Statement, Proof Of Address, Provide More information about Payments, Confirm Idenity.

I am hoping it is 45 days, since they were all linked to my real Paypal. does anyone know about this?

also i did some research and found out that Paypal Inc. can no longer hold funds for 180 days by law. Luckily i have bank accounts with all these 4 Stealth Accounts including my real one.

It depends on how your stealths got their money in them and is a little random really. Please share the links on how pp cannot hold 180 days.

Paypal does not have to give your money to you at all if they feel you have caused them risk or harm. Same with amazon and all other credit card processors.

Usually 180 days OP...the 45 days is a bit unusual but welcomed touch by PP

maybe i could try emailing and see if they would release them earlier. I'll tell them some sad story and how i really need my money as soon as possible. they will understand.

Woah!!!!!!! Before you email them, please clarify what emails you got regarding the limitation.
Hold off on doing anything for the moment especially sob stories.

Was there anything written that funds may released?

Depending on the limitation, sometimes paypal will email you without having to tell them anything saying you can withdraw early etc it happens on occasion

UPDATE: Paypal Finally let me withdraw my money!:clap

What i did was send an email to the executive office 6 days ago, I told them i was filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and with the The Tennessee Office of the Attorney General.

today i received a phone call saying they got my message and would respond by email.

This is the response i got:

Dear Paypal User,

My name is Jack and I work in PayPal's Office of Executive Escalations. Your concerns were recently forwarded to our office so that we may further assist you.

We have determined that we are able to release $479.06 USD from your held balance. It is important to note that PayPal will not transfer or send your funds to another PayPal Account. Any funds available in your balance can only be accessed in one of the following ways:

- Withdrawn to a bank account in your name
- A check withdrawal requested to the primary address on the account

To keep PayPal a safer place to do business online, sometimes we must part ways with some of our account-holders. A recent review of your PayPal account, currently registered to email address Chris553d@aim.com, found that there may be excessive risk involved in doing business with you. We're sorry, but we have permanently suspended your account.

To minimize the disruption to your business, you can continue to log in to your account for the next 180 days. Please visit the Resolution Center to see what you can and cannot do while your account access is limited.

- If you have a negative balance, please add money to your account to bring your balance to at least zero. (If you choose not to resolve your negative balance, we may take legal steps to collect the money.)

I was reading this thread a few hours ago , usually I'm good with paypal but every once in a while an eBay account goes down and the paypal gets limited.

After reading here, I knew I had $250 in a paypal account that was limited in September right after my Ebay account was restricted

The account was new , but I had 11 positives , never any issues with the account, so I'm not sure why besides eBay paypal was limited

Anyway I was inspired by this thread, so I sent an email to PayPal basically stating the above letter just shorter and in my own words

I stressed that although I don't agree with the decision because my sales all came from eBay which has a Perfect rating, I do understand the need to hold funds

That being said this has been a perfect account and the period from September 13 2014 to January 14 2015 has been more than enough time to hold my funds, that you have made interest from, and if you hold my hard earned money a day longer it has to be for fraudulent means to make further gains for your corporation using the funds I worked hard to make Money for your company. I could see if there was even one bad sale, one chargeback but my account again was perfect

If I'm not allowed to withdrawal funds to my bank on file within 24 hours I will contact the Better Business Bureau . I realize this one action will not affect your company but there are many people now forming up against these fraudulent business practices that I'm sure you are aware of, and I belong to many online forums and blogs and will let it be heard

Anyway just 3 or 4 hours later I just received an email that my funds are ready for withdrawal

They must have heat on them right now that they are letting funds be released , I guess if enough complain paypal may be getting nervous

It was funny because I just forgot about the account I wasn't worry over the couple hundred in the account, but I guess I was bored and seen this and another thread and decided to email the same letter, and I wasn't even expecting them to acknowledge that they received the email in 24 hours, and they came back with the decision within in 3 hours, I withdrew the funds to my BOA account and it went thru, should see the funds FRIDAY

Like I said the account was new, and had 11 positives all perfect rating all around, never one issue, so that is probably why they allowed to release the funds so easily
