Pending withdrawal...3 days now.
 

Usually goes from pending to completed in 24 hours. I made a withdrawal a day earlier, completed as normal and already hit my bank account earlier this week. Made a withdrawal the next day and it is still pending. Been 3 days now, so I don't see why the previous withdrawal came out fine but this second one didn't and is still pending :noidea:

I know on new accounts sometimes I been getting an extra day hold on withdrawals, usually the first 2-3 but everything goes back to normal

I know u already had a normal withdrawal in the account, but is this a fairly new account? Usually under 60 days of a solid continuous selling history?

If it is, than it could just be a precaution , and paypal doesn't want to drain all the funds because they still don't have enough selling history to determine if your a trusted seller or not so they will hold funds a little longer in case any issues they will be able to pull the funds back

If this is a aged account , than it could be a lot of reasons one that stands out , have u recently had to issue a couple returns, or had chargebacks?

It is a new account. No chargebacks, returns or complaints. The first withdrawal went through fine...that was a Saturday withdrawal, hit the bank Monday morning. This second withdrawal was Sunday and still pending. I don't think it has to do with being a weekend withdrawal since the Saturday one went through. The funds were held of course and tracking info uploaded, item delivered already, etc. So not sure why we are going on 3 days now.

A lot of in my experience has to do with a few things.

1. The sender isn't verified
2. They sent money with a CC
3. They are from a different country.

sunday withdrawals for me generally show up on Tuesday. I have never had them show up on a Monday.

This has nothing to do with showing up in my bank account. Im not concerned with that. I am concerned with the extensive "pending" status of the withdrawal from paypal itself.

The initial payments were received, I uploaded tracking info, buyers got their items and the funds were moved from the held balance to available balance. At that time I made the withdrawals when the money became available. First one went through fine, 24 hours and it showed as completed. Second one is still in pending status.

So there it is , your using a new account, lately on newer accounts the first few withdrawals have been held pending longer, because they do not know if you are a good seller or not yet, so they want to hold funds just i case a chargeback or case.

Even though the one went thru normal it's still a new account so paypal forces you to keep funds in the account a little longer

Nothing to worry about, it will pass in no time and you will get funds on normal times, just in the beginning I noticed more of this action with paypal

Also a Sunday Withdrawal making it to Monday in Bank is great timing, the fastest for me is always Sunday and deposits Tuesday

Thanks, I hope it will show as completed soon. Any idea how long the withdrawal shows pending usually? First time I have had pending longer than 24 hours.

Like Dmshark said, it's because its a new account. I have one account under 90 days and it still takes 48-72 hours to change from pending to Completed. Then I have another account that is about 30 days old that I only use for invoices and money request and when I transfer money on that account its always showing completed within 48 hrs. That account is not linked to any ebay account.

Since its linked with a ebay account they just want to see you are credible and then your money will be released a lot quicker.

May have been issues within the bank itself. Does happen with main frame ptoblems they can have.

i posted a thread about this a few weeks ago because i had the EXACT same issue. My accounts would go complete after a day and it was a sigh of relief that even if paypal limited the accounts I would have my money. Now they were staying pending for 72 hours which is more stressful than anything

Something weird happened yesterday though. I did a transfer on sunday evening. and tuesday morning my account was limited because of linking. ironically it actually wasnt even one of my stealth accounts. But when I logged in the transfer said complete and it looked like the money hadnt been returned to my paypal account. sure enough today the money is in my bank account.

Anywhere from 24 hours to 5 days on bank end - "vich" bank is good to know - insight might come from other ppl too

Funds cleared finally....something around 78 hours or so. Strange. We will see how future withdrawals go. Guess it had nothing to do with the banks end....i hope anyway

OMG........IMO, if money taking a day (or hours) longer here and there panics someone.....Heck, I can't even come up with words.........S**T happens in life....including eBay and paypal........don't let small stuff like that street you out......you'll live much longer and get to sell even more stuff on eBay! lol.
