2 stealth accounts
 

Hello everyone,

so I am operating 2 stealth accounts from the same PC but on 2 different web browsers. I use google chrome for 1 account and internet explorer for the other. I even use a mobile hotpsot and never share the same IP address for each account.

Will papypal or ebay be able to link both accounts if I am using 2 different web browsers ?

Yep. You can get linked.
Youre using two separate web browsers but the flash cookies are NOT separate. Those can get you linked.
Why don't you just do the simple and easy thing - use separate windows user accounts? its such a simple solution for this problem and is so much safer...

Shoot! how can i erase the flash cookies ? Im sure its to late n i can potentially loose both accounts if they ever decide to do a cross reference against each other.. but how can i delete them either way ? Do i just do a delete all ?

No. a delete all does not delete the flash cookies which are separate from your browser history. And deleting the cookies is just as dangerous as keeping them.
Again - open 2 new windows user accounts. That way you get to keep ALL the cookies and flash cookies and everything is kept separate. Zero chance of getting linked and no suspicions from ebay/pp about your accounts not having any history due to you deleting the cookies and flash cookies.
Its a tiny bit more extra work but totally worth it to maintain your accounts properly so don't be lazy about it or youll pay for it.

Get the stealth guide. Its pretty straight forward. You want to run multiple eBays on the same PC. You need to use different Windows user accounts.

Thanks for the advice... i created a seperate user account. But i still want to delete the flash cookies.. how do i do that on my PC... i dont want to get them linked..

You can use the search box above, just type in how to delete flash cookies and all will be revealed

What about using that app switch on an iPad. It supposedly keeps all files separate for each user on the app. I use an iPad and a separate dedicated Von also. I log in to the Von first then I use switch to go into the account I need to use at that time. Any suggestions or comments on those?

Also recommend checking out vmware, its like firefox except each tab is a new computer

iPads work great, as with everything else once an ebay/paypal app is used it is not advisable to use it again on any other user accounts on that iPad because there are likely some versions of beacons downloaded with the apps that will stay on and so could cause a link even if the apps appear to have been deleted

Firefox Portable is an easy option especially if using it correctly and once it is setup you're ready to go. Unfortunately keep creating new windows user accounts for me is just not feasible.

Making sure global flash settings are disabled and the correct boxes ticked you will have no issues.

As Slokor says, while you are new to stealth and getting setup definitely opt for the new windows users.

Where can you change global flash settings on a mac? People says its not possible to do anything about flash cookies

Those come it a bit blurry. What is the menus i have to hit to get there. Is it on their website or done thru the browser i use?

It's a safari add on I found, I will have to check to see what is called. It will not be found in preferences until Ya download the add on.

MikeJeffries - google 'Global Flash Settings' and click on the top Adobe link while on a MAC should work...then disable the settings.

For Mac users, according to this source, Chrome with the integrated Flash player enabled is the only way to keep flash cookies separate. Some commented about a test they did, and apparently even Firefox Portable shares flash cookies across user accounts.

I have not tested any of this. It's just what i've found upon researching the subject. If anyone has any experience with this on a Mac, please correct me if I'm wrong!

Just disable flash cookies altogether and you will never need to worry about it.

Good point. :) That's done by setting the allowed disk space to "none" in the Flash Player Global Storage Settings Panel, correct?

Just download CCleaner and run it...make sure Macromedia option is checked off. Analyze, clean, done.

I was going with portable Firefox for a little bit a few months ago, but by disabling storage for flash beacons is found every time Id try and list an item on eBay I would need to verify my account by receiving a 4 digit text

No big deal, but it was every time I logged into,eBay and listed the first item Id need to verify the account, and the regular cookies I had set to keep until expired.

Anyone else have this issue when going into Adobe settings and making the storage 0mb?

And than I tried allowing storage and no longer needed to verify each time I listed a new item

Anyway now I just use separate user accounts .

I also use my iPad with the Switch App, and since there is no Adobe used with IPads I'm guessing I only need to worry about regular cookies

I been using switch for 26 different accounts 13 on 2 different IPads and never had an issue or any verifications with both eBay or PayPal , and I been using my IPad with switch for a solid 8 months now along with separate user accounts again on my PC and Laptop

okay so as long as my flash cookies are disabled I can use my Portable Firefox? with separate folders on my desktop


does this trigger verifications even tho you still have cookies just not FLASH COOKIES

select the factory reset button on your iPad and wait for it to go through the procedure, also reset your home hub router, when the iPad has settled down again you will need to reinstall anything you have on it of course because factory reset wipes it, check and make note off the ip address through IPburger, then you should be good to go.

People have been saying that yes, you do need to get the 4 digit code EVERY time you login to list a new product if you use the disable flash cookies option, so you do have to be aware of and prepared for dealing with that constantly.

Are you saying with mac even using seperate user accounts you can get linked ?
