Help with possible link
 

I have two Paypal accounts. One is stealth for selling and one is real details for buying. Both use my real surname.
Viewing my stealth Paypal account today i was horrified to realise that one of the banks I have added is the same bank account for BOTH Paypal accounts.

Looking further i noted that the buyer account uses my debit card long number.
My selling account uses the account number and sort code of the bank.
My selling account is 5 years old and the buyer account is 2 years old.

I;ve never had any problems with limits or holding of moneys or any requests for ID.
Has anyone else done this and what happened?

Create new accounts, you are on borrowed time, things may continue on for you with no problems, but on the other hand you could lose it all tomorrow!

I'm making one new stealth anyway - created a new eBay account it a few weeks ago just as a backup as I don't trust eBay.
Will slowly go through the other steps to complete a new seller account.

Good idea to have reserves but you did not link those accts with that setup

Different address for both accounts.
One is ⊗⊗⊗⊗ and is other is my own.

Also, different Christian name.

I didn't think it was even possible to use the same account number twice no matter what the other account info is? I did it accidentally once and it would not accept the info.

I'm more puzzled that one account has the sort code and bank number on it, the other has the long row of numbers that goes down the centre of the card.

You will have picked up the wrong card and entered the number from it, I or something along those lines

My stealth account I used the card when I first opened the seller account.
I wanted a new card added to it that woiuld just be business related so I opened a new bank account. It was to keep my business money separate. Without thinking I still left the old card on the Paypal account and then forgot it was on there.
Nearly four years later I found out I could have an eBayer buyer account - using my banned details - and added the old card to it - forgetting it had been used on my stealth account!

The original bank card was issued by HSBC.
