Changing phone numbers on accounts?
 

When I ever verify my phone number on Paypal and then it still dosent match the phone number that I have on Ebay would it be ok and normal to simply then change my phone number on Ebay afterwards to the same exact number that I have on Paypal so I have matching phone numbers?

Or is there big risk changing your phone numbers on your account even to make the phone numbers match?

Changing phone numbers is a lot easier to explain than changing addresses. You should be fine, just don't make a habit of it and make sure both accounts match at the end of the day

Change to match both accounts is fine as long as you have established history..

How long of an established history does the account need to have to change a phone number?

There's no exact # but I would say if you have used old # for a month it can be changed with less trigger.

It's always good to have all information match on Eb & PP, BUT...EB & PP do not cross reference phone numbers.

I have changed my phone number after about 30 day of history...just my own personal experience - I had no issues

I need to change my phone number as well. My current tracfone ran out of service time and its cheaper just to buy another $5 phone and change the number.

I'm only doing this b/c I'm changing from a desktop to a laptop and ebay doesn't recognize the device and wants to do a call verification.
