Account Verfication Loop When Sending Payment Help!
 

Hey guys I am trying to send a payment to a friend of mine via the "Friends & Family" button using my PayPal balance. But when I go to send the payment I am asked to verify my account so I choose the automated phone option, so I get the call and input the four digit code. I get the message saying that my account has been verified click here to continue your transaction but when I click continue I am returned back to the verification page and it just keeps looping me back

can someone help? what is wrong?

In order to get out of the loop, just click on paypal link at the top left and do it again.

@MM78 When I do that and try to send the payment again I get the message "We're sorry but we can't send your payments right now. If this persists please contact customer support"

Sounds like a 'soft limitation' on your account.
Might be resolved within a day or two on its own or you might need to call paypal about it.

@GreenBean Yes I have. I tried IE, Firefox, Chrome, Opera. I sent payments out on a different account a couple of days ago after verification maybe PayPal system is acting up, am I the only one who is having this problem?

This stupid error "we can't send your payment right now" is so infuriating. I've had to call over dozen times and no one can figure it out.

There have been a lot of very odd things going on with PP and EB over the past few weeks. I've had both problems in addition to not being able to print postage on SOME of my accounts, not all.

I would hang tight and not be in a rush to call EB or PP. These problems seem to go away after a while.

IMO I think the programmers are messing with things and the changes they are making are causing conflicts (bugs). Once they realize it from OTHERS that call in they fix it. Sooo let the others call in and don't bring attention to yourself.

Any update anyone? I just tried another account and it got looped at the phone verification as well. I clicked the PayPal logo then went back and tried to make the payment then got error message "we can not send your payments right now"

How long ago did you receive money into your paypal balance?

As sometimes paypal dont let you send finds straight away and they put a soft limit/hold on your account.
It usually goes away within 72 hours.

@Bunneh I got the funds Feb 1st (48 Hours ago) I usually send out payments after 48 hours cause I know you can't send them out instantly.

Hey guys maybe the reason for the loop is phone method I am using to verify? I use a number from callcentric.com and I use the express talk program to receive the call. I have been using the method successfully for a month and half.

Do you guys think it maybe the phone method no longer works?

Do you guys think if I used a Google voice number instead using the method above will I get better results and not get looped?
