No more big payments on new accounts?

About 4 months ago, you could receive large payments for items sold on eBay using a brand new Paypal account. As long as you shipped the item on time, the customer was happy, and you waited until funds were available, you didnt' get limited.

Now, it seems like you are immediately limited and have to provide SSN, ID, etc. Has anyone else noticed this change? Feel free to PM me if too sensitive to post.

Paypal robots like to see constant flow of money before you could do big transactions, this has been experience.

That's an account in diapers.

No aging there.

Still got a lot of poop to pass before going anywhere and aging.

 :faint:

90 days aged you can move some money through an account if it is not a risky category on ebay. Under a grand is best and I try to have my first transaction fairly robust but not exceed a grand.

Another aspect is the sender of funds.

Is this for services? If so you are going to have constant issues going forward. Break the payments up if possible and let your accounts age a few months at least if possible. If that means opening up ten accounts today so you can operate smoothly in three months then do that.

Not aged at all Laritha, that really is a baby account. You need to read around the forum a while to understand what aged accounts are and about the experiences of other forum members from the different countries represented on this forum are.

Do you have to use PP Laritha? Can you work with a different payment processor?

What would you say are the most risky category's in your opinion to sell expensive items on accounts that are 90 days aged?

Just had two transactions totalling 4500 pass through paypal and didnt get limited, SSN or ID requests or any of that garbage. This was off-ebay transactions. Youre doing something wrong.

Laritha, are these international payments?

I get these to for large sums international. It was a big inconvenience for me last September and I have not found a work around yet other than smaller dollar amounts.
