Wait to add bank account?
 

So I've been reading some posts, especially from sellers selling account, that you should add cookies first before adding your bank account? Why is that?

Ive never done that.
Are you getting confused with ebay.cookies.as they are essential. Always advised on a.new account to give browsing history on ebay, which builds a.cookie history.

Ive always verified and confirmed a paypal before i even join ebay.
I operate from mobiles and have never given history to my phone in order to.sort paypal out.
I give history to the phone when i do ebay :-)

No, Ive bought accounts from here and the sellers say add history before adding a bank account to Paypal.

I as a seller always recommend to add the bank account as the very last thing youll do.
The reason is simple - make sure that everything with both the ebay and paypal accounts is working perfectly before you 'burn' a good real bank account of yours.
Whats the point in adding the bank account the very same day you get the accounts you bought only to do something poorly (stealthwise) on the ebay or paypal accounts you get and lose them as well as the bank account before ever making use of it.

It's a some do, some don't scenario whether your seller will advise your to browse on eBay for a while before starting to list items, and that browsing will create cookies from eBay in your device, so that they, eBay, can recognise your device when you got on to start listing on your account.

You can add a bank account WHENEVER you want.. i do not see any difference to this at all.
I only see problems when you add, remove or change multiple things at the same time or same day.

paypal actually likes to be able to ID the user.

dont forget everything is trust with them.

Cookies are part of that.

As a personal experience, I add the bank account and verify PP before any use and I like doing activity with it BEFORE taking it for eB
