Paypal and VCC
 

Hello guys

I sell on Ebay for several years. Untill November 2014 I verified all my PP accounts via VCC. But in November PayPal Russia changed their policy and now it is impossible to confirm PayPal account using VCCs. I don't know how, but system automatically detects that card I added is virtual...I can buy stuff using this card, but I can not get PP code to confirm and verify it.
I called PP customer support and they confirmed, that their system has such a settings that it is physically impossible to verify VCC.

Do you have any thoughts on this? How do you think they detect that card is virtual? Are there any ways to cheat their system? May be there are some special VCCs which make PP system think that it is real plastic card?

Which VCC were you using before?

Cant really say that "cheating" the system is in order

Just regular VCC...Visa and Mastercard

All cards issued have numbers which give their identity/type to the likes of paypal banks etc.

Cant fool that system.

I searched interenet and found that what I need is virtual card which PP will detect as credit card, not debet.

Those cards do exist.

But, there may be issues with usage in Russia.

Entropay VCC works like a charm. But not sure if it will work for russian accounts. It works really nice for LV accounts - allows verifications, payments, withdrawals.
