Paypal taken more fees out the the regular 2.9% plus .30 ....????
 

So I sold a item for $250 . i check my paypal and fees taken were $10.05

Im confused, I thought paypal fees were 2.9% plus .30 cents.. So thought would make it $7.55 total.


How am I being charged $10.05?????

Is it an international payment? Does it have any shipping charges?

Not an international payment and shipping was not taken out.. shipping for this item was $7 that i chose to pay with the payment later

I'm stumped. maybe I will give them a call later????

I found out what happen. I bougt a small item $1.50 or so a week ago via bank account transfer. i got my item via email but my bank denied the transfer.

So basically paypal took their $1.50 i owed out of that money. They combined the fee and that money i owed together from the looks of it


but that still cannot be right because that stills leaves a $1 and some change unaccounted for . they took out $2.55 or so extra. The item i bought was only $1.50.
