Bank withdrawal name mismatch HUGE Problem.

Ok so i know there's a lot of info covering this topic but I never seen it until after the fact. Secondly, I see a lot of contradicting info... Boa is the best and others saying boa didn't work for them.

I bank with Santander and I withdrew just under 4k out of my PayPal to the bank. It is a stealth account. The first day it hit my account the money was avaialble and fine. Two days later bank has it on hold, I call and get transferred to fraud department. They explain the name on the transfer doesn't match the name on the checking account. Right now the only option is to have it reversed back to PayPal.

Is it that simple, It will be reversed and credited back to my PayPal? Should I call PayPal ? Will this get me limited ?

Thanks I aprreciate any advice , I'm panicking :(

Paypal may end up limited with those funds in it, hard to tell.

NEVER, EVER transfer that kind of money in a single transfer again. Never transfer more than you can afford to lose. When transferring out to a bank I never go more than $300, but I know others are willing to send more.

It's never a good idea to call PP on a stealth account.

$4k in a single transfer is a huge amount.

You needed to break that down into much much smaller sums

Re: Bank withdrawal name mismatch HUGE Problem.

4K on the FIRST transfer can be a problem even when names match especially if it is on a personal account.

I am not going to lie and say I don't transfer that much at a time but it is not the first transfer or even the first ten.

Lets say I needed to withdraw 4K today from a stealth that has never had funds dumped I would withdraw $250.00 a couple times today. Then in a few days after no issues come up(Have not yet knock on wood) I would withdraw $250.00 at a time one after another until the balance is taken care of. It really only takes a couple extra minutes.

Then later I may bring that number higher and ONLY if it was going to a business checking account.

I don't do multiple withdrawals on one day yankee - 250-300 per day is a good approach on my front

Re: Bank withdrawal name mismatch HUGE Problem.

I was stating what I do. It would take waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to long to only withdraw $250 a day. Nothing wrong with multiples as long as the value is low at least in my experience and a few other members who sell a little volume.

My max pe day is $400-$600.

I empty paypal when balance is available. Biggest withdrawal was only 2500 at a time though.

It is about transferring regular amounts that can gradually be increased as the need arises as we sell more items, that way no need for us to be seen to be doing anything suddenly, no alarm bells, over time everything can be increased.

Thanks for the advice guys, I had no idea name mismatches were a big deal bank side. So I just went for the big withdrawal thinking it wouldn't be an issue. Opened a boa and going to try small amounts from now on. You live and learn I guess just wish I seen these posts earlier.

Side note, has anyone ever had payments reveresed back to PayPal? Does it just go right back? Does this flag the account ?

Thanks

It isn't the name mismatch that was the problem for you Johnnyb, it was the amount of money you transferred, like everyone has been saying here, if you had transferred your just under 4k in smaller lots of maybe 250/500 at a time to your bank, they would have more likely to accept it without calling in the fraud department! Mismatched name deposits are one of the fundamental points of working stealth accounts, they are essential to a correctly operated stealth. You need to concentrate on why this happened to you, and it was 100% because of the amount of money involved.

Your boa account with smaller amounts from now on will see you carry on with stealth with no similar problems.

Big bold rash statement.

I would never be inclined to say that to a user whose business plan you ( or I ) know nothing about.

Qualify these statements so they do not backfire as poor advice.

At the most, stealthers should have few problems. It's never a given with banks and stealth.

:peace:

I often transfer $1000 out of my PP account to my Santander bank account but the names are not mismatched. However generally I let it sit there for day or so before I move any of it after a big in payment. Ive never transferred more than $1000 at a time.

As they say - softly softly catchee monkey!

I think it also depends on how long youve had the account and other factors. Ive had my business PP account 12 years and I began with small amounts like $50-$100. As other posters have said you can gradually build up to bigger amounts.

I buy a lot of stock with PP so I keep some money in the account all the time. There would always be enough there to cover a refund or a chargeback.

If it gets sent back to paypal for sure the bank is removed from the account and account is probably limited.

I have you on IGNORE.

And for a good reason if that's the quality of your posts.

No need to be a smart arse and making inane remarks drawing attention to yourself.

Hey, can you give an update on this? What happened?

Re: Bank withdrawal name mismatch HUGE Problem.

After I've had a few large withdrawals on a 6month old acct after 3 months of selling. Showing SUPERB DSRs might I add. 600/800/1200/2300 respectively. I definitely wouldnt suggest that if it were the first few withdrawals though.

I question your statement on Mismatched name deposits being one of the fundamental points of working stealth accounts...

To quote BigCJ from a previous thread:

http://www.aspkin.com/forums/paypal-...tml#post644924

"Cap360 does not work for 2 main reasons.

1) Paypal has it on a blacklist and

2) Cap360 has been known to REJECT mis-matched names.

You are trying to get people to use something that has been burned for years."

Can you please clarify what you mean by your statement about "Mismatched name deposits being one of the fundamental points of working stealth accounts?"
