Refunding a buyer with a negative balance?
 

So, I made a mistake of sending my husband to the post office to mail a $400 package and he did not get tracking. The buyer ended up filing a claim and my Paypal account is now negative.

I sold a couple items and thought I changed the Paypal account but it turns out I didn't. Now that I received funds into an account with a negative balance I'm trying to refund the buyer and send him an invoice but Paypal will not allow me to and wants me to deposit money into my Paypal account with my bank account. Is there any way around this?

Besides uploading funds from your bank account....you could do a one time transfer from other PP account - mind you, it is NOT recommended to move money between pp accounts but...well, one time might be doable (just saying that it is an option).

Sadly, you can't upload from a vcc or credit card so that option is out of the picture.

Well, the thing is that I don't want to pay the negative balance at all.

If you owe it to PayPal then you will need to pay it
