Same Paypal Account : Different Email?
 

I have a stealth paypal account and am concerned about reaching the $20,000 limit without having any SSN or EIN to pass any limits. I know what I could just create a new account once I reach the limit, but a new account getting large amounts of money coming in immediately could be a problem.

The paypal account is pertaining mostly to the site bonanza.com

My personal paypal account was attached to a seller account that was suspended/deleted

What I am wondering is, can I assign a new email address to my aforementioned personal paypal account, and use that to link the bonanza back to my old paypal account? On the bonanza seller page, it just asks for the email assigned to the paypal account, so I am wondering if only that would be banned or detected.

Yes. Most alternative marketplaces can do this without issues.

So they won't be able to detect my paypal merchant ID?

Not unless you use PPX or pay your fees with your PP account.

I've done it and currently do it. I'm not going to keep repeating myself.

I just found it curious that as soon as I made a sale with my old paypal account (using a brand new email address to link it with) my Bonanza booth has deactivated any new listings and my Google Shopping feed status shows "suspended" all of a sudden. As you could guess, I am very concerned about this development.

Well that was an epic mistake. The Bonanza account was deleted. Obviously the answer to my question was "oh Hell no, don't even think about it!". Had to learn the hard way....

Old pp with bonanza....was the old account suspended already?

I had an old Bonanza account that was attached to my personal paypal that I've had for years now. The paypal account has never been suspended, always in good order.

The old Bonanza account was suspended maybe 3-4 weeks ago.

The new account was originally linked to a stealth paypal account, but since I was anticipating reaching the $20,000 barrier in short time (and with no SSN/EIN) I wanted to have it linked to a limitless and healthy, aged account.

I assigned a new email address to my personal paypal in hopes that Bonanza would not detect the actual account. But alas, I was mistaken.

The system apparently flagged the account immediately after the first sale as my google feed was suspended, and my booth temporarily deactivated. As I feared, the account was suspended and deleted just hours later. Now I can't even log in. One helluva set back.

I will have to start from scratch again, but now that I am multi-offender, delinquent, they will probably have a more watchful eye on me trying to get back on and sell the same stuff again.

I'm not positive that was the case. If you used any of your same information or same listings from a previous banned account, that is far more likely.

I've never had the issue you're having. Multiple emails, PP accounts, etc. All fine.

The fact that it happened immediately after I changed the paypal account email address makes me think it was not a coincidence.

The account got flagged and I knew it was a mistake. Bottom line, I will never try that again.

Perhaps because you were on different IP and that threw up a flag? Similar to how PP, EB and Crai.gsL.ist flip out when you alter personal information on the account from an unknown IP or missing cookies. I've changed my PP seller email on different IPs, but my account cookies were in place. Bonan works together with EB which means Bonan is fairly advanced in its tracking abilities, learning from its master.

Honestly, there is no way they shut you down because you just slapped in a new email addy. You didn't even perform a transaction and yet, somehow, they magically have access to the PP account directory and matched you from adding an email in a text box? No.

The thing is, I made a sale probably within 30 minutes of changing the email address for paypal. They must have retrieved the account ID for paypal or something. I should have been more cautious. Even a little bit of doubt should have made me hold off on these types of actions.

Back to the drawing board...

you are able to generate $20k in sales on bonanza? you are my hero. I wasn't able to generate 1 sale there in 3 months before I gave up.
