Filing a dispute within 180 days on Paypal?

I still haven't gotten clarity on this my question is:

Can you only file a dispute within 180 days after payment for digital items or transactions that are just between Paypal to Paypal?

Or can you file a dispute within 180 days after payment on any transaction from Ebay or Paypal?

If you can file a dispute within 180 days after payment on any transaction on Ebay or Paypal all i got to say is Sweet Jesus not even Santa Claus would accept a return that old!!!

I need to know the for sure answer to this i know you can file disputes within 180 days between Paypal to Paypal transactions.

Also you can do a credit card chargeback within 180 days.

However can you file a dispute within 180 days after payment on any transaction from Paypal on a Ebay transaction?

A buyer can file a dispute 180 days from the time they made payment.

Not sure what is confusing?

45 days has been gone for months. It is 180 days now. Tons of threads about it.

Chargebacks have nothing to do with paypal. It is up to the policy of the credit card.

Thanks i wasn't sure where or what you could file a dispute within 180 days. Because i have not experienced any kind of 180 day return on Ebay (Other than chargebacks and that not even a Ebay return). I already knew you could file a dispute within 180 days on Paypal to Paypal transactions but apparently you can also file within 180 days on any transaction on Ebay threw Paypal.

Other than the Marketplace fairness act that is the most absurd, and impractical thing I've ever heard that is associated with Ebay or Paypal.

In fact that is so illogical that im going to hop on that gravy train and start taking stuff back after months after purchase.

That may be true but for the most part buyers rule the world of Ebay and Paypal. Also you just have to know what to buy and what to say so its a walk in the park at least for me.

All of my credit cards i own can do charge backs within 180 days i think that is pretty standard at least it is for me. The only reason i associated chargebacks to Paypal is because its a way you can be out your money and your items and people can do a credit card chargeback on Paypal using there credit card.

the 180 days effects some of my sellers.

Items that are season(used september-november) are now getting cases open on paypal in March, lol

It is in the thousands of dollars, but in the whole scheme of things, it is a relatively small amount of money based on gross sales. But VERY annoying. Blocked lists grows bigger and bigger everyday!

Very true on chargebacks - I was referring more to PP claims via agents...you're right though

How many total are in your Ebay block bidder list?

Also do you block every single bidder amongst all of your accounts?

yankee do you block every single buyer that has done you wrong on every single account that you own and sell on?

I need to know this because i'm kinda paranoid that ebay will link me from same account activity from having hundreds of the same blocked members acrossed all of my accounts.
