I withdrawed money to the wrong bank account
 

I withdrew money to a bank account on accident. I do not know if the bank account is legit or not, but the account number I entered was very similar to mines but a couple of numbers off. For example, this is my routing and account number routing: (065738667) account (932413567). This is what I entered routing (065738667), routing (9324116755). Will PayPal refund the money back into my PayPal if the transfer does not go through, it shows completed but its not. I made a mistake and entered the wrong account number

If the money does not come back to your Paypal, your going to need to contact the bank and explain what happened and HOPE they understand.

What did u just add it and make your first withdraw right away without verifying the account first I guess??

If it's a real account you just sent someonelse your money, I don't think it will be easy to get back, was it a large amount?

:pop2: WTF is my first reaction. I don't even know HOW you can withdraw money to a random bank account without going through verification process on it

You can just add a bank and withdraw to the bank with out confirming the bank account, but if you do, I would look over it 10 times before attempting a withdraw

I posted how to solve this problem. You can fix it if it still says pending. Happened to me and I figured out the solution myself.

Op posted that it's completed already , if it's out of pending than paypal can't do anything, or if it hd been in pending for a long time , it's correctable if they noticed right away

You're right....I never do this so it slipped my mind that confirming bank accounts only verifies the account so you can withdraw over $500 per month. :doh:

I always make a withdrawal of £10 to £20 when I withdraw money for the first time from a paypal account, to make sure that the money is coming into the correct account and that there are no issues. Even though I verify and confirm the bank accounts first. Verification and confirmation is apparently not required to make only withdrawals.

Correct me if I said anything wrong!

You can withdraw but you are limited to $500/month if you do not confirm bank account.

Correct but if you have vba then plus bank then you don't have to confirm withdraw only bank. But if you have no vba and only bank you are withdrawing to then it's $500/month

It bugs me every time when I see the title of this thread....its "withdrew" not "withdrawed" :focus:
