Buyer opened SNAD with false return tracking #.
 

I have a buyer who opened a SNAD and escalated the case with paypal. This was a private invoice purchase. This individual insisted that I issue the full refund before he return the item since day 1. So paypal requested this individual to return the item within 2 weeks for the refund. About 4 hours before the case expire (Saturday), this person posted an invalid tracking number at 8pm (he lives on the east coast). Would you guys advice that I speak to PP about this if this tracking number turn out to be f.a.k.e and there's no indication of shipment on Monday/Tuesday?

Never ever give refunds before you get your item back, and tracking shows that your item has been delivered.

So the buyer did provided a bogus tracking number and now 2 days behind shipment. I called up paypal and they are giving the buyer an extra 8 days... so it's a 3 weeks wait time ....

I've been screwed before on a SNAD claim. Buyer was supposed to return the item...instead sent an empty flat rate box. There's no way to look up weight on a flat rate box, so I was out the money + product. Paypal didn't give a rats turd cutter. :rant:

I had a similar situation where the buyer returned me an item that he purchased and shipped directly from oversea, which was not the original item. The case was in my favor.
