paypal is asking for identification when openning new account
 

Not sure if this is new issue. I am in the middle of opening a new paypal account after ebay was suspended. After I registered with new email address, phone number , and physical address, Paypal asks me to provide last four digits of SSN , birthday and living address.

So looks like Paypal is already trying to verifying my identity. It's not good because I used a misspell of my name to create the account, and paypal has my ssn and home address. Was not able to find guide in the book on how to resolve this. Anyone else experienced this? And how can I find a walk around?

If this was a business account, you can just enter any numbers.

Same happened to me yesterday but I logged out and back in and so far not asking again. Did you come across this and actually enter any numbers? What happened afterwards? How long has it been? Any help will be appreciated.
