Does anyone use MYCASHPLUS as bank account?
 

I am having trouble confirming the card.

OK here is a detail description

I put in the card details (this is for the bank) sort code/account number

They then say you will receive a 1p deposit with a 4 digit code on your online statement.

6 days later nothing, this includes calling PP to ask them why it is not showing and them sending 2 more 1p payments but still nothing.

Is it because MYCASHPLUS is not a real bank although it has a sort code/account number?

Do I need to upgrade the account for the 1p deposit to go in?

This is getting me so frustrated :mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2:

You need to learn the terminology here Peter in order to prevent confusion.

You put in the bank account and sort code details. That has nothing to do with the card, it just so happens that they are on the card.

A bank account is used to verify a PayPal, not confirm it.

Have you tried ringing MyCashPlus to see what the issue is?

I just called them and I need to upgrade my account for the details to show.

If you are on the electoral register at your address then the account should have been automatically upgraded to Total Access. They run electronic identification checks similar to Paypal.
