I keep getting calls and when I pick up, no one says anything. I call back and the same thing. I Google'd it and some people say it's paypal, but others say when they called Paypal, they claimed it wasn't one of their numbers. Anyone have any info they could share?

From what Im seeing there are plenty of reports about this number being a paypal collection call.
IS this number theyre calling you on connected to any paypal account that has issues?

It could be, yes. But a few people said it when they called paypal they claimed this number was not associated with them. I guess it could have been an outside collection agency.

Is the number they call you on one you obtained for a new stealth account, and thus may have been used previously?

Google stories make me think it's paypal. And I would expect paypal to not know their own numbers.

There are more posts on google saying its paypal and only 1 or 2 saying it is not.. so if you really worried why not try call it and see who picks up??

I wouldn't be concerned then, if its important they will call back, but i wouldn't give any details on the phone or pay for anything from the comments i have read lol

Im asking because this number they call me on was associated with my real account that was suspended. If it is paypal, I would call them back to see what they have to say.

Yes but there would be no reason for paypal to call you on an account that is suspended and does not owe any money to them..

Usually this is considered auto dialer, Once the call has been answered, the autodialer either plays a recorded message or connects the call to a live person, which is why it sometimes takes a while for someone to answer you and not usually straight away.
