There are cashing out methods.

Alot of people just spend the money.

There has been one thread on this only a few days ago. Try searching for it to give you ideas

Plenty of posts in the forum on this issue... not much choice, tho.

Many methods you end up losing a a fair bit, best would be to find a method where you can buy stuff then make a profit

Bank transfer is the only way to withdraw funds directly from PayPal. Lots of banks about in the UK

I did read that one the other day, the one I was talking of was started by jazzy77 and talked about signing up for online bookies and then cashing out, can only see the first two lines of the post though where he gives the names of the two bookies and the first step (won't name them here as was obviously deleted for a reason)

Ah that old method...

Not worked for a long time. Not a good way to try to build up a long term account.

Probably why it was deleted then, so as not to spread misinformation!

I'll cancel my account with Ladbrokes then, only signed up to try to see if there was any way it could be done

Lots of ways, of course.

But ideally a UK paypal needs a bank account because ebay expects a verified paypal to be attached.

And a bank account is needed to do that.

If you are using paypal, you should always have a variety of methods to obtain your own funds....
