PayPal 21 day hold?
 

Say i have a brand new paypal fully verified (stealth though). And i receive a payment outside of ebay will it still be held for 21 days?

In my experience yes it will still be held but others will tell you it's eBay that hold the money.

I received a payment outside of ebay a few days ago and it still isnt available now.

Yes it will be held 95% of the time. It will usually not be held for the full 21 days though.

21 days hold still applies to all PayPal until you establish your account as a credible seller. Most time they realease payment early when tracking confirm the item as been delivered so patience will wins.

Brand new - yes likely but holds will go away over time.

My last experience with a PP use outside of eB ONLY. Set it up in December - had holds for about a month - since January no holds - process about $500-1k payment reception per week

Unless you obviously received it via the family and friends route then you will have no hold. This is not advised tho and I only recommend receiving 1 or 2 payments Max a month in this way.

You can enter tracking number and the 21 day hold will reduce to between 5-7 days, if you mark it as dispatched through Ebay this turns the 21 day hold to 10 days before the payments change from pending to completed.

Can still take up to 72 hours on top of this for a withdrawal to clear from pp to your bank account even once the holds are gone through

If you get 2 payments from separate people or 2 paypal accounts, the 60day countdown for removal of 21day holds starts. This is essential if you want to get rid of it soon.

I have recently made a new Latvian account and found out that I get 21 day hold on every non-Ebay transaction. Before that I've used Russian accs and had never had that kind of issue there.

The question is - in what countries this hold does not appear? I am interested in countries with credit card withdrawal available (http://www.aspkin.com/forums/ebay-pa...c-w-o-vba.html).

Yes it will for 90 days or more
