How long before GV deactivates your # for inactivity. Those with experience, Is there anything else to watch out for?

I feel like it varies but they usually send you an email warning beforehand

I believe its 12 months.
But theres always the chance of the account itself being disabled for abuse - which is something that can happen for using a bad IP address or any other reason they deem appropriate.

Not as well as it used to work.

Look at other options.

Also make sure you keep any phone number attached to paypal ACTIVE.

That is so critical now.

Yeah I was planning on it, I'm thinking a binder with account details and labels on the phones are there any services that don't expire as often as tracfone?
