And than the issue with ones that accept mismatched names today may not tomorrow.
I think the site is NerdWallet.com, if not just google NerdWallet.com and on that site click on prepaid cards or bank accounts and they rate like 100 different prepaid cards and banks
And it changes every month , there's literally a never ending source of bank accounts because new ones come out every week
But that site shows you which ones exist, and shows all the fees and rates them, and gives you links to sign up for anyone.

The problem is paypal is doing that with a lot of banks trying to stop or block the making of multiple accounts. Try creating the account and waiting several weeks before adding vba.

Have you run out of mainstream banks or just do not use them?

Have you tried business bank accounts?
Even if you don't want to or can't use any of the major banks, there's no shortage of smaller banks and credit unions that offer free/cheap biz bank accounts which would work with mismatched names (or worst case, just upgrade the Paypal account to a business account and make the name match that way).

My metabank account is working. I have the checking account set as the bank and the debit card set as the debit. I have sold 5 items up to my limit on that account. The account is less than 60 days old.

1. Are you using a metabank with a mismatch Paypal?
2. How many bank transfers have you done?
3. Have u successfully withdrawn any money from the card?

Im in the middle of know-where on the Canadian boarder(my current view out my window is Canada) and my local walmart(3.5 hours round trip) has many many options.
at least one of the cards you mentioned above works sometimes but not all the time.
Truth of the mater is, a bank account is far and away easier than most cards. Both require an SS number so other than not having to walk into a branch, they offer very little advantage for most people.
I pay some staff using these cards, basically they have a card compared to me writing them a check.

I opened 3 Accounts, like I mentioned banks are coming out with these new accounts every other week, especially with smartphones, they are able to give a debit card and create an App with many features.
So what was once a prepaid debit card has progressing more and more to a modern bank account that has a nice App to help control not only the funds in that one account but they integrate all ur accounts if u like.
So the "prepaid debit card" has evolved tremendously just in the past 3 years.
The site I posted reviews the top 100 accounts, I just opened 3 from the top 10, than added those 3'to 3 different PayPal accounts
All added easily, no glitch message, or security call needed. All 3 sent 2 small deposits, and the deposits were in the accounts e next day for all 3 , so I verified the paypal accounts quickly .
And I was able to verify the accounts and start making withdrawals instantly, and than the cards came within a week, so from April 23 I opened 3'Accounts, verified 3 PayPal accounts, made a withdrawal to each of the accounts, and as of 2 days ago received and activated all 3 debit cards

Ive signed up for a few, however, its my understanding that bancorp and metabank do not work and a majority of them were these two. Is that correct? Could you say either way?

Does anyone know of any bank accounts that are mismatch friendly that do not run your credit report. I don't want any inquiries on my credit right now, as I want to try to get a house...are there any, or should I use a prepaid card for now.
I have been reading and did a search for opening checking account and still reading, but this is my last step for my first stealth account and trying to figure something out for a checking account or something without a credit pull!
Thank you all, I love these boards and am learning SO much!
You are all amazing!

At the end it does say we are asking for your social security number but
this will not affect your credit in any way. |
