Paypal limiting everything & anything
 

Have a few seller accounts set up selling low value items. for each one paypal has limited and asked for the usual ID, address, Invoices.

Documents can be purchased, but just the hassle and money to get new docs.

Seems strange I have been getting limited due to low value non risk items.

The emails have been "you have not logged in for a while" type.

How long ago were these accounts made?

Care to share a run down of their creation?

were they limited when your received your first/second payment?

Were the accounts bank verified? if not, that usually triggers these on the accounts especially if an account is under a few weeks old..

If it's a new Paypal account then the limitation will always occur as soon as you start receiving funds Paypal will always ask to receive documents and usually the limitation is removed within 24 hours provided they are happy with everything. New EU laws and anti-money laundering obligations means Paypal have to verify what you're using the account for. Expect them to ask for documents and invoices more regularly, been through this

Not true at all.

I can receive £1000 in a week on a brand new account without receiving a limitation.

@ blueuk eventually it will get limited and they will ask you for documents. Why else are there so much threads about this on the forums. They will at the very least ask for involves and tracking numbers.

Your telling me they will let you withdraw funds without verifying your identity and checking ownership of items sold

But before you receive £1900 your account will be limited just as any other UK account will be until you either produce documents or can do the credit check/electoral roll procedure

The accounts in question all have bank accounts attached. they are around a week old.

Been selling sim cards to gain feedback on each acc, after a couple of transactions I have been getting asked to confirm location/address, then photo ID.

Seems strange that last year I could sell upto the £1900 limit without any problems.

You still can but Paypal are a rule unto themselves and random checks and limitations can affect even the most legit genuine sellers.
