adding a bank account to paypal question

My question is if I added a bank account to paypal for verification and Paypal sent the two small deposits but I change my mind and don't confirm the deposits and add a different bank account number instead would I still be able to use the first account number with a different paypal in the future or would that account number be linked even if I didn't confirm the deposits

It would be linked even if you did not confirm the deposits.
