I don't mean to "hijack" the thread, I think this is relevant though - I'm trying to upgrade my PayPal to a business account. I put in the EIN for my LLC, all seems fine, but then it asks for the last 4 digits of my SSN along with my date of birth. Is this normal? It seems to defeat the purpose.. Thank you!
Use the last for of your EIN. You will be all set.

What about the date of birth part, how will that work out? Or does it not matter as long as they're only seeing the last 4 of the EIN? Thanks!
Enter your date of birth....... or make one up. I suggest not being 83 years old and definitely not under age. If you make one up, make sure you don't forget how old you are in the future!
