Need help asap!!
so my paypal has over $2000 dollars in it (my first mistake I know) and its just basically a paypal to an ebay I was no longer selling on ad I was purchasing wholesale items with that account. I set up the account with a text free number and I currently don't have access to it (second mistake) and all they want it to text me to confirm my identity but every time i make a new text free number and add it it says that its not registered under my name. I really need some help on how I can retrieve my funds. I am 18 years old and in school so abandoning the $2000 isn't an option |

My paypal wasn't suspended, and i can't log in address isn't the right one and name isn't mine. I don't think a check is an option |

Okay, I see now have you kept or have been deleted cookies/flash objects on your computer? Or do you just no longer have your password and login and you're trying to get back into the account because your phone is the only option? |

Yes, unfortunately when you first sign up for your PayPal and it was in good standings and allowed you to add any number that you choose freely if I am reading this correctly, I am assuming your PayPal account is limited? When your PayPal account gets a limited and you're given the options to confirm your identity or for it to send text to their very first phone number it will give the error when trying to add a new number to replace the old one.
Did you happen to have a Bank account attached to this PayPal account? If not your other option is just to receive a check in the mail.
Also, if your PayPal recently got suspended they might hold your funds for 180 days just in case buyers open up a a dispute
| I don't think his account is suspended, the problem the OP is having is that in order to send money to his bank, Paypal sometimes requires a phone verification before it allows the transfer of funds to the bank account. |

I can't access anything on my account at all as soon as I type in my password and log in it gives me this pop up. I think they might think I'm an intruder trying to log into my own account |

| Yeah, I know the whole process I think it's anything over $300-400 and PayPal requires this from you, but I guess I was lucky the only time ever had dealt with it was one PayPal account got limited. |

| Really wow, I guess I have gotten terribly lucky over the years only $50 and this has happened to you wow.
Well, hopefully I will never ever get hit with this issue, but maybe soon my luck will run out. |

| Truthfully, I actually like it....the way I see it is that if anyone tries to withdraw my funds without me knowing....it will require them a phone call to the number on file....assuming the number is still good. |

| Yeah, you actually have a point there! That is good for extra security I still have all my phone number still active for all my accounts anyways so I'm good for now! |

I had a message like this not to long ago. Paypal saying someone logged into my account and they blocked it. Would not let me even log in without a text confirmation. Had to bring out the box of phones. |

| Someone had mentioned a while back that they logged into their paypal via the App, now usually we don't recommend going near the App but in this case it might be worth it seeing that you have $2K in there. I can't guarantee it will work nor have I tried it but that's the advice I saw given. |

Hey guys! Good news, logging in on the app worked! Thank you:) My paypal isn't limited they're just worried an intruder was trying to log in. I am going to change the phone number so this never happens again. Thank god I didn't lose $2000 |

Well I now have some bad news again ugh!! I logged in and is shows my balance but the account is locked!! And i can add another phone number or anything. Should I call them and risk it? |
