Limit till limited?
 

Hey fellow forumers. Just a quick question. I have a client willing to pay me 4k I just made a new stealth paypal account will I be limited? Or will I just have to wait 21 days? Is there a certain limit to where I wont be limited? Thanks

$4k on a new stealth is not going to work

Maybe worth looking at other ways of getting paid on this one :thumb:

Yes highly likely with that value, especially on a new account.

Is the payment from outside ebay?

Scenario like that could see instant limit and holding of funds.

Consider safer options for yourself.

On a brand New account from my experience anything north of a couple of hundred buck gets limited

Very risky on a new account - if client demands Paypal...you are playing with fire. Need either an established PP (even then, it could be risky a sudden SPIKE in amount coming in) or look at different options....look much better

Funny you guys say all this but I have made numerous paypal accounts that the first transaction was 1K and had only to wait 21 days to withdraw. No limitations or anything the only reason why I am scared is because I have never done anything over 1K on first transaction. LOL

Would not recommend either. Have them pay other ways. An established account won't have any issues, and you'll still get the 21 day hold, but at least you won't throw up any red flags for a large amount of money moving through in a short period of time

2k is still about 95% too much for a first payment.

I had a semi new paypal account that was getting instant payments. so it ha transactions. I received a payment for a lil over $5k and the PayPal was immediately limited. Anyhow, it was stealth so no info was provided and the account was lost.
