Bank Account
 

I have a bank account that has never been linked to any paypal accounts. The only concern is that its a business bank account. Is that okay to link with a new stealth account or should I open up a different bank account?

Business accounts are actually BETTER than personal accounts. In fact, you could set the new account up as a business account. They tend to be stronger that way. Not BULLETPROOF, you understand, but stronger. The same rules apply in that it cannot be linked to another account, etc.

Thanks jeff thats definately good to hear. I bought a stealth account already and the paypal is a personal account I can just switch it to a business right and it wouldnt cause anything bad to happen?

If I were you I would not add that bank account at first. I would opt for buying a VBA and attaching that instead - at least until I knew for a fact the account is working well. Once the account is up and running and activity is showing and all is well - then you can add your own account.
Just safer to do things that way since if anything goes wrong you 'burn' your own bank account which is a shame. A VBA is cheap enough to buy to protect your long term investment.

Okay that sounds reasonable. You have a VBA you would recommend?

There are a couple of sellers in the seller section that sell them. See what they say and what they have available.

I agree with Slokor. Once the account is on solid ground, THEN would be the time to switch.

Now instead of buying a VBA account, couldn't I just simply open a new personal bank account for free?

You could, but if your EBay/PayPal accounts for some reason doesn't make it (get banned/perm limited) then you just wasted a perfect account. The idea is not let go to waste bank accounts.

To most of us, it is preferable to waste a VBA rather than a real account. Because, while VBA's may cost a few bucks, it is better to lose the few dollars than to have to go through the hassle of opening a new account. But you certainly COULD do so. If you go that route, and the account stays open, then you could continue using that account.
