PAYPAL asking for SS#, need to add funds
 

Hi,
I wanted to add some funds to my stealth PP account but as soon as I made the attempt they want me to verify.
Is there another way to do this?

Yes, sell stuff and collect the money into the Paypal. Are you trying to buy something?

you can buy paypal cards at a local store like cvs and add credit to your paypal account.

Account is about 6 weeks old. Opend with netspend MC , have a bank account attached.

I believe that requires an SSN from what I've seen.

Anytime you try to add funds to your paypal account by getting any of the many cards at different stores, or from a bank account, you need to enter your SS#

This way your money is always tracked to prevent Money Laundering or illegal funding to terrorist Groups , etc...

You don't need to add funds to use paypal to shop or pay someone. Just add a card or bank account and you're good to go. In fact, I don't see any point of adding money to my paypal account.

How about buying eBay gift cards and adding those on eBay while checking out?

Will this option also require him to input SSN? I don't think so. I have a 3 year old account that I run this way and it doesn't have EIN/SSN, it is however confirmed/verified with bank account and vcc

Using eb gift cards would not require SSN on eB itself

If the bank account has mismatched names and you try to add funds to PayPal from the bank account they will see and immediately limit the account.

Most likely the same situation, Ebay will most likely track your sales with Skrill and "MAY" want you to report taxes.

If you use PayPal you can sign up for an EIN and provide that to PayPal for tax purposes...OR you can spread your sales across many accounts so you don't ever hit the 200/$20K mark.

1 Ebay to 1 PayPal...1:1 ratio always. Please remember that your not forced to enter an SSN on PayPal...it's not mandatory.

Was mandatory for me, when PP stop accepting eBay payments and requested SS.

What I meant is that it isn't mandatory when you open the account.....The idea for you now is to stay under the radar if possible. Like I said, you can go the EIN route as well but it's a bit more complicated BUT do-able and it's worked for a lot of sellers on this forum.

Then reloadable VCC is our best bet.
