Original number on file says this number is not registered in your name now?

whenever trying to buy something on ebay or withdraw money. the verification security check comes up asking to receive a call/text the phone number for account verification.

but now even for the original number used to create the account it shows this stupid message and I've only had a single number on file. did something change recently and is there possibly any workaround?

Must be a weird glitch. Try logging on and back on then verify the number again. If not you might have to call customer service with that original number to see if they can fix it.
