How Do I Track My 200/20000 Progression?
 

How do I track how many transactions my PayPal has had and/or how much money it has received? The only way I see on the PP site to do this would be to go to Activity and count every "+" and add every "$" up. I'm hoping there's an easier way to keep track of this and I'm just missing it somehow.

They don't have a tracking system per-se, but you can go into your history and run a custom report. For example, if you want to know how much as of today, then you would run the report from 01/01/2015 to todays date. It takes 15-20 minutes once you request it. It will tell you the totals received, PayPal's fees, etc. Since they report gross sales, you will want to use the figure in the totals column.

I know it is available as an Excel spreadsheet, it may also be available in PDF, but I am not sure about PDF.

There may be other reports I am not aware of, there are quite a few of them. I never worry about it until the year ends, but I always try to get the information BEFORE they issue the 1099-k's for planning purposes.

Where do I find the custom reports? Are you referring to when you go on the Activity page (classic view) > "More" drop-down > Download History?
If so, which of the downloads do I choose?
If its somewhere else that I'm still missing, please let me know because I swear I've scoured every link on PP for this stuff, but could just be overlooking it still.

Also, does this method only help with the $20k, or would it still be fairly easy to figure out total number of positive transactions by how many rows shows up on the spreadsheet?
Its most likely I'll hit 200 transactions first, and at a faster pace than I expected, as from what I read here PP counts my incoming seller fee refunds and cancelled shipping refunds, and doesn't subtract refunded sales.

Download your sales reports to Excel.

Keep in mind that PP can limit based on PROJECTED sales rate

transactions > charts and graphs > yearly > 2015

This will show you payments received... I believe the 200/20,000 is based only on credit card transactions, but that's about all I receive so its never mattered to me.

I have a shipping station, teapplix, i just look up the ebay id then i can see how many sales i have done.
