We're asking for your tax ID number due to new IRS rules. Your tax ID
number is one of these:

- Your Social Security number
- Your Individual Tax Identification Number
- Your Employer Identification Number

We'll use your tax ID number to send tax Form 1099-K to you and the IRS
when the payments you receive exceed both of these milestones in a calendar
year:

- $20,000 in gross payment volume for goods or services
- 200 payments for goods or services



This account is under my name (Mike)
I provided my SIN under my full name for an account I used a year ago (Micheal)
-This account was suspended from eBay because I never sent in my ID after I reached Top Rated Seller


I don't see a reason why I could not re-use my sin for a different paypal account a year later, since I was suspended from ebay not paypal

From what Im seeing this is a US based account since theyre asking for your SSN - not your SIN (which is something used in Canada - NOT the US).
Don't think using your SIN is possible for a US account.

SSN, not SIN.
Unless you have American citizenship, you're pretty much out of luck here.
