Hey guys!

Just a quick question.

I added my bank first on my stealth. (no credit card added yet) When I go to try and deposit money from my bank to paypal it asks for tax id or ssn to confirm identity. Is this happening because I haven't added my credit card yet? Thanks!

This is becoming the standard when you transfer money from BANK to Paypal. Paypal to BANK doesn't require you to confirm your identity. It's a one way street. Paypal is getting stricter.

how am I spose to add money to my paypal then?

You don't have to. Just set your bank account as a funding source and you're ready to go.

I'm in the same boat as you with only having my bank account added to my pp. As far as limitations that come along with that, there's the $500/month withdraw limit from pp.

Are you trying to transfer more than $500/month into your pp?

If you add a bank and CC the $500 withdraw limit goes away...as for adding funds to your PayPal you can try to fund it by selling on the account or try adding a gift card and use those funds.

Yes, I understand what you're trying to do. I was asking if your're trying to transfer more than $500/month into your pp to see if there is a direct correlation with the only limitation that I'm aware of "$500/month withdraw from pp" in regards to only adding the bank account.

You cannot transfer money from your bank account to your paypal account without adding your SSN#.

Why can't you just send a payment and choose the bank as a funding source for instant transfer?
Are you trying to cash out a bank account through pp?

Whenever you try to add money into Paypal, whether it's using your bank to transfer money to PP, or using something like a Mycash card, you will need to enter a SSN. Obviously for stealth this is impossible, so if you need to buy something then just use a VCC as the funding source, or use any money already in your account.

yes your only option is vcc. But for PPMC, ssn is must
