I had an old account that was overdrawn over $6K. Paypal does in house collections. Mine was a failed instant transer. You know instantly paid someone then they draft you account. After repeatedly trying to draft my account and charge the backup card, they closed the account, as well as a student account that were attached. 4 years later, no one other than paypal called me. Never was on my credit. Opened secondary steal accounts and kep using paypal and selling. BUT I do send money to the account and money orders to paypal at least once a month in an amount that I can afford.
I've had the chargeback fraud too. All they have to do is go their bank and say it was significantly different, the bank puts the money back into their account, paypal finds out a while later and you as a seller is SOL. I hate that because soe people have figured this out and will say they returned the item and didnt. Their bank doesnt require proof of return and once paypal sees the significantly different, you will lose the case. They dont want trouble wit card companies. |
