Are PayPal and eBay still sharing information?
 
I was told by an eBay manager that PayPal and eBay no longer share information. He stated that all eBay can see is your PayPal email address and the status of your PayPal account. Does anyone know whether or not this is true?

Don't believe a word theyre saying. The info sharing is automated at this point since their systems are pretty integrated into each other.
Nothing has changed at this point and probably wont for quite some time - if ever.

They still do 100%.

Rule number 57 of stealth: Never trust a word that comes out of the mouths of ebay/paypal reps.

yes they do BUT it seems that they direct "view" from paypal into ebay has been closed and vise versa. Meaning paypal can not look into your ebay account like they used to. It seems they get a "notice" that an issue is resolved etc... and no longer can look directly in as they did before.
But the basic info is absolutely 100% still shared
Or maybe that is 100% hogwash too lol who knows for sure. Maybe we will have a better idea in a few months.

They will continue to share information for a long while, don't think otherwise. Continue normal procedures.

I am not sure if they still share info or not but info sharing has decreased drastically. That i am sure off.
Whenever i use to purchase something from ebay, turbo checkout was activated.
But for the past one month, i am not able to activate turbo checkout at all on any new account.
