Prepaid Debit Cards

It seems that prepaid debit cards are asking for proof of ssn card and Id before they issue one. I would like to obtain a AMEX SERVE debit card https://www.serve.com/?SOLID=SEARCH&...FYUXHwodu_0ESw

But they require all that so should I do it?

It is the law of the USA that all checking accounts(prepaid debit is exactly this minus the checks) holders supply an SS.
No legal way around it.

I know they are requiring to supply it but now they want a picture of the card and id as well and a utility bill!!

Then find another card. Literally dozens of good banks offering them. or just go with a checking account.

which debit card doesn't require photos I think its a new thing now.. I am a legit person I just want to know if I should do it?

I have not had any ask for photo ID. Many ask data base questions or driver incense numbers.

nerdwallet.com is a great place to start. Stay away from american express, ally and anything green dot. test the others. Lots is good ones. Some the card never comes in the mail.

Ummm well, photo ID, utility bills, black listed from paypal and miss matched name issues to start.
Used and abused over the years. Lots of threads about it.
