2checkout Great Alternative
 

Just wanted to share this site with those who use PayPal and want an alternative as oppose of having a normal PayPal account. For those that don't know 2checkout is a merchant provider that allows you to invoice your customers (assuming you have an online store) via email or add the code to your site. They'll have option to pay with PayPal and Credit Card

Here's the best part, The money is sent to 2checkout and not you. Only drawback is that they pay you once a week, They send your money to your bank account. You just need to have an active website providing services or selling products. I've been using them for over a year and i've never had issues with them. I sell virtual items and i just invoice my customers to pay via 2checkout's website. Have never had any problems, nor do I have to worry about limited PayPal! Unfortunately this won't work with eBay but for those that just simply need PayPal. Check them out! You will need an SSN or EIN

In your country it would be 3.9% + 45¢ per transaction. Its not the cheapest but its better than having your own account only to watch it get limited

I'm pretty sure if you encounter issues with customers 2checkout will can your ass just as fast as paypal if not faster.

If it was available through ebay it would be worth considering..

Well yes if customers chargeback of course, But im talking about Paypal limiting you for no reason, like a lot of people here experience , at least you dont have to worry about that happening

So you get the eBay sale, and then invoice them and they can pay with PayPal through 2checkout?? What about the eBay fees if the items don't even show as paid through eBay ???

I dont use eBay, so this wouldn't work for those that do. This a only good for those that only use PayPal for payments.

So I take it you use your own website? You actually have to manually send them an invoice though it doesn't redirect them. That's the gist I'm getting, is it setup like that for you?

Yes, And yes you have to manually invoice your customers but at least i don't have to worry about having my OWN personal account limited... Its all sent to 2checkout and you get paid via bank deposits , No paypal account required

Exactly, only downside is that this won't work with eBay. But for those that don't use it its a great alternative as oppose to having a standard paypal account and randomly getting limited for no apparent reason as they are notorious for doing
